first_imgMichigan State Eron Harris throws down a ridiculous dunk.Michigan State Eron Harris Eron Harris hasn’t yet suited up in a game for Michigan State’s basketball program, but we feel it’s safe to say the Spartans’ fan base is going to like him very much. The former West Virginia guard transferred into MSU’s program this offseason and will be eligible for the 2016-17 season after sitting out the upcoming season due to NCAA rules. Once he’s eligible, watch out. He’s not only a great scorer (averaged 17 points a game at WVU last season) but also a freak athlete, as he proved at MSU’s Breslin Center earlier today. Check out this video of Harris throwing down some ridiculous dunks, courtesy of MSU guard Denzel Valentine. Whoa. Klopp dismisses significance of Liverpools 21 win over Man City

first_imgJurgen Klopp believes that Liverpool’s 2-1 win over rivals Manchester City will not bear any special significance on their upcoming campaignAfter losing to his former club Borussia Dortmund in disappointing fashion in the first game of their US tour, Klopp saw his Liverpool side bounce back with an impressive second-half display to defeat City 2-1 in New Jersey.Things hadn’t actually got off to a good start for Liverpool with the players struggling to reach their usually high standards in the opening 45 minutes before Leroy Sane broke the deadlock after the break to hand City the lead. But the returning Mohamed Salah equalised, just 52 seconds after he was brought on as a substitute, before Sadio Mane then sealed the win for Liverpool with a 94th-minute penalty. The victory could be seen as a strong message towards Liverpool’s title ambitions this year after defeating last season’s Premier League champions.Jose Mourinho is sold on Lampard succeeding at Chelsea Tomás Pavel Ibarra Meda – September 14, 2019 Jose Mourinho wanted to give his two cents on Frank Lampard’s odds as the new Chelsea FC manager, he thinks he will succeed. There really…But, as far as Klopp is concerned, it was just another preseason game. The German told the club website: “I’m pretty sure Pep [Guardiola] was a little bit angry because he doesn’t like, or he hates [losing], like I do. I was not a bit happy about the Dortmund game, even when there was a lot more good situations than today, especially in the first half.“If you lose a game, you lose a game. How can you be happy? And if we win a game, that’s cool. That it was against Man City, we lost against Dortmund so what does that mean? We won against City, what does that mean?”He added: “It’s pre-season, it’s really not important. The game for us was very important, but it is not a sign in the direction or whatever. It’s only a game we played and a lot of good moments which we can use and a lot of bad moments we can work on. That’s all.”Liverpool are now in seventh place in the International Champions Cup table and will next face Manchester United on Saturday at the Michigan Stadium.last_img read more
